What's your experience with progesterone?

I just got put on progesterone to "kick start" my period since I haven't had one in a few months and we would really like to be pregnant. Has anyone had good or bad experiences? I only have to take it 1 wk (and then cross my fingers real hard!)

I have taken progesterone several times to start my period. I didn't really have any side effects, although I think I had slightly worse cramps. I usually don't get cramps, but I did when taking the medicine. But they weren't bad or anything. It worked well for me. Good luck.
My wife took it several times when we were trying to get pregnant. She didn't have any trouble with it. We experienced several miscarriages without it, and I guess it was necessary to help maintain her three viable pregnancies.
