What counts as day 1 of Clomid?

My doc told me to take clomid on days 5-9 of my period. I got my period at around 5pm (I spotted earlier, but it turned into a real period a little before 5) on Wednesday. So is Wed. day 1 or is Thurs. day 1? I meant to ask my doc, but I forgot to ask. Would it be most precise to just start taking it exactly five 24 hours after it began? In other words, should I just take it at 5pm on Sunday? Thanks!

Answer:
Wednesday was day 1. And good luck with the clomid! Hope it works for you!
Day one is the day you start your period, so that's the day you take the med
I would count Wednesday as day one and start on Sunday. I used clomid and my beautiful healthy daughter is 18 now ! Good Luck to you ! I know how trying it can be.
wed is day 1. so start on sunday
I was told by my Doc that day 1 is the 2nd day you see your p
because the first day it just give you a notice (hey on my way )
but you say it turn out to be real that afternoon than I say it is day Wenesday
If you start your period in the evening, day 1 is the following day.
Honestly, either day can be considered day 1 and it will be fine.
I say wed. is day 1, so take the clomid on sun. I really hope the clomid works for you, I took it for 3 months and didn't have no luck with it, I did ovulate dough. GL to you.
Wednesday is day one.

The day you start bleeding is day one whether you are completely in full flow or just spotting. So day 5 is Sunday
