i have my nipples pierced, and i know that when you breastfeed it reacts as a natural birth control, so my question is , since i have my nipples pierced and my husband and i are trying to concive will this prolong the process and act as the same thing as breastfeeding since there is something constantly on them?

Breast feeding reduces the chances of becoming pregnant, but it is still entierly possible to become pregnant while breast feeding.

The reason why it reduces the chances is because of the milk production and your bodys hormones naturally preventing you from becoming pregnant. You're body knows that if it is feeding one baby, then it does not need to be growing another one inside until you stop breast feeding.

Your nipples being pierced does not cause you to lactate, so therefore it would have to effect on your chances of becoming pregnant.

no no that has nothing to do with it.. the act of a baby suckling on the breasts and your body producing milk is what prevents conception.. the hormones in your body from that prevent you from ovulationg.. Nipples being pierced arent going to prevent ovulation.
