I've read that when the egg white stuff are sticky, you are fertile. Getting pregnant is hard, it took us 1 year 8 months. You can start taking folic acid, the longer you take it before conceiving the better for the baby.
You can also go to the Femta website, I'm not sure about the address but I'm sure if you type Femta it will show. There you can download a free trial where you record your cycle and it then works out when you are most likely to get pregnant. Good luck and don't loose hope!
it sounds like normal discharge, its only when it's coloured or smelly or irritating that you need to see a dr. and yes dr's won't help until you've been trying for 12 months. try using a digital ovulation kit to help nature, my fertility clinic said clear blue is the most reliable one. failing that you could lie to your gp and say you've been trying for a year, but send your other half for tests first as he'll only have to produce a specimine but women go through a number of invasive tests for infertility investigation. you'll probably find as soon as you relax and stop worrying you'll fall pregnant naturally. good luck
When you are fertile your discharge is like raw egg whites - with a slimey consistancy. Before your period it can be a mix off clear & white, can leave a slight mark in your knickers and is more sticky. This is usually normal before your period. Visit a gum clinic if the discharge continues, has odour, you itch or have any other symptoms. Otherwise if your period comes on and afterwards the discharge is not there it is probably just normal - mine does that too.
