IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

There are programmes on this matter on BBC one during the week...i watched one last week and aparently one cycle of IVF can cost up to 10K STG. Of course it depends if your going to attend Harley Street or a local clinic.
youd have to go on google and type in ivf. prices should be on many web sites that'll appear on the screen
from my reasearch on infertility treatments.. (i am going through some of the same types of things) The average IVF is between 14,000 and 20,000 veryyyyyyyy expensive.. but i have decided that adoption is an open option too, since IVF is not guaranteed pregnancy and each time you go for this procedure that is the cost.
maybe around £3k-£6 depending on the clinic and type of treatment (there are lots of different fertility treatments that come under the umbrella 'IVF'). Pay for drugs and pay for actual treatment. Talk to your / their GP who can put them in touch with local specialist unit / women's hospital, and get appointment.
GO TO YOUR NEAR BY GYNAECOLOGIST AND CONSULT WITH HIM.
B'COZ COST CAN CHANGE PATIENT TO PATIENT AS PER NEED OF IVF.
LOCALITY IS ALSO IMPORTANT FACTOR.

it's more like £3,500 although the clinic i was looking at it was £5000 for 3 ivf treatments but that was near harley street i think,
i think it might have been more for the drugs and stuff though.

then you have to find a clinic, most people like it to be close there home but the success rates also play a big part in which clinic your friend would choose, and you can look at the success rates of the clinic as well from the site

also i don't know much about it but i'd also suggest your freind looks into iui as well maybe before the ivf as it's so much cheaper, although the sucess rates are lower there's more about it in the fertilly book i suggested.

I'm having IVF treatment now. i live in Australia and it is costing me and my husband $1700.you should try looking up IVF sites on the net there's heaps of sites maybe that will help you.at the end of the day i think is so sad that people who need to have IVF have to worry but the cost of IVF just to have a baby of there own.

I have researched this myslf as might need to go down that route and its £3- £4000 in my area. Get on the internet and find IVF clinics close to you to find out cost. Good luck to your friends x
