I have been taking clomid now for 4 months if I take it this month it will be 5 months. I have horrible pain when on it, I cant have sex cause it hurts, totally defeats the purpose, sometimes I just bare with it. My question is, did anyone get off it, and end up pregnant the following month. Did anyone have horrible pain on it around ovulation? Should I just hang in there for another month?

Ask for femara instead of clomid.
This is my 5th month on clomid150mg, but this month my doctor put me on metformin 1000mg to go with it. If your hurting when having sex you should call your doctor and ask if that is a side effect. That's what their there for. I do have some pain when ovulating but not extream pain. After this month if this does'nt work for us my doctor said i had to come off of it, and see a specalist and get injections. It's very disappointing. Hang in there maybe you'll have better luck than me!!
