often it can take up to a yr to concieve.
have you been on the pill? this can affect your likelyhood of concieving straight away
maybe there is a problem with you / partner - low sperm count, PCOS etc??
relax during sex and let nature take its course
eat healthily, take folic acid, excersise
after intercourse raise your bottom on some pills to help guide the sperm
I don't know how to help you but my advice is to go to a doctor.
My friend was with her boyfriend for 3 years and she didn't get pregnant and her period
was on time every month but after they broke up and met another guy she got pregnant the very first time,she was with him!!so, take my advice.go to the Doc!

Ur boyfriend's has got problems. Normally, problems giving birth are due to the male side. U should both see a doctor
Your heavy painful flow sounds like you might have a fibroid on your uterus or ovary - go see a doctor about your flow first. - then make sure your boyfriend has a sperm count checked first - then you can have your tests. sometimes conception can take a while - relax and give it a little
