If the first day of your period was on the 9th, then you should be ovulating by the 23rd or 24th. I would say try as many times as you want or as possible within the following week.

It depends on how long your cycle is. Not all women have a perfect 28 day cycle therefore all do not ovulate on that 14th day.

I have two children, one is seventeen, the other is ten. We didn't try to time them, or make it convenient for us, in fact, quite the opposite. My first I had when I was sixteen, not so convenient for anyone, but I never finished school because I tended for her so much. My second I had after my ex filed for divorce for leaving me for his secretary. Not so convenient, either. My son never saw his father until he was around five and went to his house.
My point is, it is never a matter of convenience for you as a parent, but since you are willing to be one, then it will come someday. Enjoy your time with your spouse in the meantime, like dates, romantic escapes, because once children come, it is them first, believe me.
You might also check his sperm count, since this is a huge part of pregnancy,,,,,just a thought
14 days after the first day of your period. after you calculate that then have sex everyday for a week. this should work. so starting yesterday you should be having sex everyday until the 30th. Good Luck!!!!
have sex as often that you can some weman ovulte on thir period then off but give it time and pray and soon it will happen i think that you should have sex 3 day on you piriod and a week that your off for a month you are bound to get pregnet also that have a test that you an bye to see when you do ovulet and it you cant oford it go to a clinik and they will help you with family planing
OK, first thing's first. Go to your GP and tell him/her you're trying to conceive. I had trouble and my GP took a blood sample and told me when I was ovulating - I was ovulating twice in my cycle so all the info in the books etc was thrown out the window! Now, relax - I know it's stressful trying to conceive but worrying about it and having sex every night is not the answer, in fact that does more harm than good. It really is true what they say about good things happening when you least expect it - throw away the thermometers and the pregnancy tests and relax a little. Best way to find out when you are ovulating is to buy an ovulation kit. Usually women ovulate 10-14 days after their period. Some women do vary based upon irregular periods and such.
