if you are 2 weeks late for a period (making you about 6 weeks pregnant) thats a good time. wait a few days though... sometimes an hpt wont turn positvie until you are 5-6 weeks pregnant. the hormone levels rise different in everyone thats why. good luck!
i think you could go anytime. it's my understanding that a blood test gives you much quicker results (whereas you have to wait until your fmp with a hpt). although generally a hpt will be accurate as of the first day of your missed period.
A blood test is only effective 3 days before a urine test would show an accurate result.so I would wait for your period to be at least 4-5 days late. Test again with home test again at that point and if its still negative and no period, go for a blood test.
I would wait a couple days, your period may still come. When I was trying to conceive, I had a period that was late a couple days. So we tried again after that and I was pregnant the next month. If you don't get your period in like 3 more days, take another pregnancy test, if it's still negative then go get a blood test.
well i would say you could go for one now. 7-10 days after ovulation implantation should take place and your levels should sky rocket then, then at about 5-7 days after tests should come back accurate, but if you still have not gotten your period i would say that you could have one now. good luck. hope this helps.
