If i use cocoa butter before i get pregnat will it decrese stretch marks?
Answer:
Nope it won't help. Even from day one I lathered that stuff on my belly-- I used it every day. It helped prevent my skin from itching (which a lot of preggo women complain about), but I ended up with huge, bright red, deep stretch marks.
Unfortunately, as much as I've read and heard, it all depends on your skin type and heredity.
No, the best time to use it is during the pregnancy, this doesnt always mean that you wont have stretch marks but it may help with the moisturing of the skin to make it more flexiable. And use it after pregnancy also
It's great to care for your body that much. I started right when I found out I was pregnant and used it about twice a day. You really need to use it on the whole middle part of your body and your breasts. You also need to continue to use it for awhile after you have the baby while your skin is going back into place. If your ever thinking of staying at home with the baby, check out my website at www.workathomeunited.com/jenni... Their products are environmentally friendly and you need to get all the toxic products out of your house anyhow so why not refer others to do the same and make some extra money. Good Luck! Jennifer
There is absolutely no scientific proof that anything at all prevents stretch marks. You can spend as much money as you want on a gazillion different products, but if you're going to get them, you're going to get them no matter what you do. Ask your doc, search the web. I don't care what anyone on here tells you, there is nothing you can do.
However, like one other poster said, it doesn't hurt to keep your skin moisturized and will help with the itching that inevitably goes along with stretching skin.
No, but you'll have a nice moist tummy.
