Can prenatal vitamins help you to conceive after 10 months of trying?

Answer:
I've been taking prenatal vitamins for a while and I am not pregnant and they haven't harmed me in any way. I personally don't see anything wrong with it. They will for sure help your body get ready for a baby, especially by providing folic acid. I think the required amount is 400 mcg a day. The prenatals that I am taking have 800 mcg. They are also good if you don't eat a balanced diet because you are missing nutrients and vitamins. I don't know if they can help you conceive though. Just try to not think about getting pregnant so much. Maybe it's just in your mind.
the vitamin supplement is merely for preg and after due to the fact that your baby is taking away so much nutrience etc from the mom. it is not anything to aid in becoming preg again. Although it will help with your nails and hair still
I'm pretty sure prenatal vitiams have nothing to do with that, they just keep you healthy after you are pregnant.
No; they will reduce the chance of neural tube defects if you get pregnant though!
I've heard it's good to take prenatal vitamins before you try to conceive... you need your body in tip-top shape for a baby! I don't know if it will help you conceive, but it's a good idea regardless. Also, don't give up hope. I know lots of people who have had a difficult time getting pregnant. One couple, after fives years, finally got pregnant. Now they're pregnant with their second. Good luck!
No, but keep taking them. They help prepare your body nutritionally for pregnancy.

And don't give up yet, be patient. Took me 13 months to conceive.
I don't think it will help you conceive, but it's good to be on them prior to getting pregnant to make sure you have enough folic acid to prevent birth defects.
That is not true I agree with the first person that gave an answer it's just a Vitmamin supplement for the nutrients baby takes away from you!
i heard that all the folic acid helps. i am taking my prenatals too!! but weve only been trying for about 3 months. good luck.
I'm not sure if they're for actually helping the process of conception. I thought they were for the purpose of being as healthy as possible in preparation.
If you are activley trying to conceive, you should be taking a prenatal vitamin EVERY DAY. This CAN assist you in getting pregnant, by ensuring that your body has the right levels of vitamins and minerals, as well as folic acid. It's so important to have a good store of folic acid built up in your body, because the time when your little one may need it the most, may be before you even know you are pregnant yet!

Also, they say it can take a NORMAL, healthy couple 12 months to conceive. After that, it's safe to schedule an appt. with your doctor to discuss your options.
No, prenatal vitamins are for during pregnancy, that is WHY they are called prenatal vitamins, prenatal meaning before birth, during pregnancy. You wouldn't need help conciveing if you're already pregnant would you?
