i have been off of depo since july. my doctor put me on proestrogen pills for 10 days. he said i was suppose to have a period 1 or 2 days after getting off of them (since i haven't had on since on depo). i had sex 3 or 4 days after being off of proestrogen. its been 8 days and no period. he said if i don't have period then he will know where my hormones stand. what does that mean? how long does it take to get them back? please i have been ttc for 6 months

I was on depo for several years, and it took me a year to conceive.
it sounds to me like if you don't have a period soon, your doc will probably give you the option of taking a hormone supplement to get things back on track.

It takes quite a while. I had my son in December 05 and I been off Depo since summer 05. I have just now started to get regular.
