Yes! I am 6 weeks pregnant now after my first month on Clomid. I had slightly polycystic ovvaries, so was not ovulating regularly. I had no side effects, felt great, ovulated on day 20 (I was charting temps) and now I am pregnant. I don't find out if i am carrying twins (or more!) for a few weeks yet. Good luck with it.
Clomid only works if you just need a little boost. Because it is the least expensive and most accessable fertility medication, it is frequently used first. A good fertility specialist can look at your hormones and your specific situation and tell you if it will likely be a waste of time and money for you. I was told it would be, but we gave it a try just to see and it did NOTHING for me! It really depends on you infertility cause, hormone levels, and what it is that you really need! God Bless!
Clomid worked for me.
After 2 and a half years of trying, a fertility specialist determined that I had PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), and gave me a perscription. After one try, I got pregnant! I now have a healthy five month old baby girl.
A friend of mine had to go on Clomid, as well, and it worked for her right away.
did 5 cycles of clomid and metoformin did not work made me gain weight and have really bad mood swings i will never try that again but it did work for my sister the first time but she had a miscarriage. we both have pcos.
