Can hgc levels show up during your period thereby showing a positive pregnancy test?

Answer:
Im going to say no. hgc is produced by the body when you are pregnant. I don't see a point in the body making it for a period.
If the test says your pregnant, then your pregnant.

Tests give false negatives, not false positives.
Some women actually have a normal period during early pregnancy so it's possible for the pregnancy hormone to show up during your period. If you took a home pregnancy test and it was positive, even during your period, contact your doc for a blood test to test your levels.
