Trying to conceive... Help!?
Answer:
do missionary. after he comes, put pillows under your butt to encourage the sperm to go far back as possible. also stick your legs up in the air to help. it makes your cervix soak in the sperm to increase the chances of it taking
Lots of factors here. The start of the period is day one, count forward to the 10th through the 14th day are your most fertile. Go at it, and set your alarm for 3:00 a.m. even during these days. See a Dr. after a few month. If your young it should happen soon. But if you took the depo shot, it might take quite some time to have the effects to wear off.
I know it's frustrating. There are lots of things you can try.
First, get the book Taking Charge of Your Fetility.
Next, sign up for Fertility Friend (it's a web site).
Then, start charting your temperature, if you haven't already. It's possible you're not ovulating when you think you are.
Finally, if none of that works, go to the doctor and have his sperm count tested first. If it's fine, have yourself checked out. There are lots of things doc's can do to help if the problem is biological or hormonal.
Best of luck to you!

www.fertilityfriend.com
these two sites are the ones I use as reference and as a good guide I too am trying to conceive but we are taking it day by day and letting nature take it's course and as well hoping for the best. Also a good thing to invest in is a basal body thermometer they are about ten dollars at Wal-Mart it could take a few cycles to figure out the way your body works but fertilityfriend.com is a good way to chart your cycles and it will give you tips and better assist you down your road to trying to conceive. I wish you all the best of luck and know that when it is time then you and your husband will be blessed with a sweet bundle of joy, but until then just have fun and go with the flow and let things happen naturally.

Take multivitamins... it's said that a woman of childbearing age should take vitamins with folic acid in them to lower birth defects, taking them b4 you get preg. It should also help your body to prepare for the carrying of a baby providing you with all the nutritional things that we need that we can never seem to get with all the rushing and fast food, unhealthy diets, pops, etc. we don't eat as many fruits and vegetables as we should, vitamins help supply them. It shouldn't take long after that and another tip I got from my doctor... have spontaneous sex. The fact that you know your going to "try again" may be tensing your body up.
Good Luck Boo
sounds like everyone has given almost all the advice you can get...I have one more thing to add...
on day 10 of your cycle start taking robutussin cough syrup or mucinex(sp?) til day 18 of your cycle...this will help thin your cervical mucus so that the sperm can travel to your uterus better.also have sex from day 11 til day 18
make sure you don't get up at all after sex for at least 30 minutes...you want to keep everything in there!
There's no specific set time. It could take two months, it could take two years. Just remember to take your temperature the moment you wake up every morning before you move. Try to lay on your back for a while afterwards before getting up. Don't give up and good luck.
