Yes, I didn't get a positive urine test until i was six weeks.But I had a blood test done so I found out at four weeks I was pregnant. My HCG levels were just too low for a urine test and my Dr. wouldn't believe me! I kept telling her I know I'm pregnant, just do a blood test. I had to kind of fight for it ... I have no idea why but sure enough I was. <3

With all three of my pregnancies, the test was postive a couple days before my expected period. Very faint line but there. Good luck hun!
The tests these days are very very accurate. They test hormone levels in your urine. If you are pregnant and the hormone levels are not increasing expotentially, then there could be a problem. If you think you really are pregnant, I would see my OB/GYN as soon as possible.
in my first pregnancy I came up negative 3 times when I was 2 and a half months pregnant then it came up positive. so it all depends on your body ...get a blood test done it will be 100% acurate

I hope this helps. I had been trying to conceive since August and kept getting negative pregnancy tests every month. Well, in October and November I had these one day spotting episodes and still got negatives. After the episode on November 5th, I had a negative urine test and a negative blood test. On November 20 I even went to the E.R. and tried to sneak and get an ultrasound done but couldn't and the doctor told me that the pregnancy was all in my head. On November 28th I had a friend sneak and do an ultrasound, only to find out that she didn't know what she was doing and said it looked like I had 2 gas bubbles in my uterus. Well, on December 2nd I got a positive pregnancy test really fast and am scheduled for an ultrasound on the 22nd. I understand what you're going through and if I were you I'd go ahead and schedule an appointment with my doctor. If you are experiencing things that you know your body doesn't normally do, ask for an ultrasound. I say that because you seemed to be holding back on your question a little.
