Well Sunday afternoon I started spotting a little, which I never do. I still had a week and a half until my period and there is a chance I might be pregnant. So the spotting was not very often but lasted until Monday. I called my doctor and they told me that as long as I dont have sharp pains or a fever, I should just keep an eye on it. So it stopped yesterday and the pain I was having went away, but now this morning it's back. I have slight pain in my lower abdominal area with a little bit of spotting. I take a pregnancy test for another week and I hate to keep calling my doctor about this. I'm just wondering at what point do I really worry that this might be somthing serious? I dont know how to tell if it's spotting or just my period being weird. I know I should know but it's hard to tell the difference. So has this happened to anyone? Should I call my doctor again or just wait a few days and see what happens? Thanks for the help!

I know - it's so easy to worry about every little thing when you are trying to conceive.
When I was on birth control, I had spotting at odd times throughout my cycle. Some women spot around the time of ovulation (but not always every time). And then there is a possibility that you are actually experiencing "implantation bleeding."
When sperm meets egg, the egg is still inside the Fallopian tubes. It takes several days for it to travel to the uterus and implant itself. It's a great sign to have, because it's when the pregnancy hormones really start to kick in, doubling every day until you reach that level that the pregnancy tests detect.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is what you are experiencing.
