Sore Breasts??

I'm expecting my period on the 11th and my breasts having been hurting gradually every since the 1st. They are hurting really serveley now. My breasts ALWAYS hurt before my period but me and my husband had sex during my ovulation time, and I'm wondering if I'm pregnant would they still hurt like when I get my period or would they not hurt? Do they usually hurt this early if you are pregnant? I know I will just have to wait and take a test but I was just wondering if anyone else had these symptoms.

Answer:
Sore breasts was one of the first symptoms during all four of my pregnancies. I also have sore breast a week before my periods, but they gradually become more painful when I'm pregnant. It sounds like you are pregnant.
Yea sore breast are a symptom but it is also a symptom of PMS so it could either way. If you start feeling nausea and being tired all the time then you could be pregnant. Good luck!
I had 3 children. No sore breasts. Then I got pregnant with this one. man did it make up for it. That was the first sign for me. Take a test when you should get your period. Good luck
my breasts became sore when i was pregnant, but also get the same symptoms during PMS, so it could be either you're pregnant or just PMSing - be patient & take the test.
It is very possible that you are pregnant. I mean sore tender breasts are one of the first signs to being pregnant.
Usually sore breasts or extremely sore breasts means that you are pregnant. and yes they do hurt that early, at least mine did. I had those symptoms and went in to the doctor and i was pregnant.
Avoid any food or drink with caffeine.
Mine hurt too before my periods and each time I've been pregnant. But, I think they hurt me more towards the end of the pregnancies when they were preparing more for lactation. I do believe it can be a sign of pregnancy. I think a change in hormone balance, particularly lack of progesterone is the cause for breasts hurting during your cycle. I use topical progesterone, prescribed, and it has relieved this discomfort considerably.
However, if you think you may be pregnant by all means, check soon so you can get started started on prenatal care. Don't take any alcohol, other drugs (tobacco, teas) or medications until you know for sure. Prenatal vitamins are okay to take and highly recommended, ensure you get folic acid. These things are good even several months before you do conceive. Good luck!
definitely take a test most pregnancies are different .My breast hurt right away for my first child but never hurt once for my second.
yes! they could be a symptom, but i think its way tooo early.for you to be feeling like this so maybe its just your period!
14 days after ovulation mine hurt so bad!! it was so much different than the way they hurt b/f your period. it was mostly the outer part of them on the sides. I couldn't wait to take off my bra they hurt so bad. you totally could be! this was a big sign for me!

good luck

My period is due on the 10th... i'm ttc too. I had a m/c last time.
HOpe we both have good news.

Mine are a little sore but nothing like last time.. however it is earlier than last time too.
Sore boobs is one of the first things women usually experience and yes, it's usually worse than just your regular PMS, especially if first baby.
what i noticed with my 3 girls was that when I was actually pg, it felt more like regular PMS symptoms but the period never comes.
