Well, maybe it's not time for you guys to have a baby. Ever thought that it would be better for you to be stable in marriage before bringing a baby into the world? Everything happens for a reason. If it were me, I'd wait a few years after marriage before having a baby. It's much more than just holding a bundle of joy and changing a few diapers. It can stress a relationship greatly. I'd make sure to be stable and know each other very well before bringing a baby into the mix that will take up all your private times together and totally change the spectrum of your relationship with one another. You also need to make sure you can financially support a child.
I wouldn't be too worried about it. We had our first child when I was 18. We never used any form of birth control, we knew we wanted more kids. We never really tried, but we never really tried to prevent it either. We did not end up pregnant with our second child until our oldest was 6! Now I am pregnant again and this time it didn't take near as long, my youngest is 15 months. I believe pregnancies happen when they are meant to be. Hang in there! I am sure everything is fine. Usually fertility docs say to wait at least 2 years of actively trying to have a baby.
I had unprotected sex with 1 boyfriend and he used to pull out and I never got pregnant. When I finaly tried getting pregnant, it took me 6 months of sex everyday and counting ovulation and stuff.
Have you recently stopped taking birth control pills? This could be an obvious explanation, it usually takes women a while to get pregnant after stopping birth control because the hormones are not back on track right away.
Another explanation could be as simple as stress or just not having sex at your time of ovulation. I know of couples who couldn't get pregnant for 6 years and finslly right after adopting their first baby got pregnant.
Talk to your doctor, he will give you info that will help you get pregnant successfully. If this still does not wrk, see a specialist for tests. They have tests to tell you right away if theres something wrong.
If there is something wrong there could be a solution such as hormone injections or they might find a reason.
If you have evr had a pid or std such as chlamydia or gonnorreah or a simple bacteria infection this could cause scar tissue in your fallopian tubes that would prevent an egg from entering for fertilization.
