Yep, even faint, really faint lines count. When I got pregnant with my twins (9 years ago) you had to tilt the stick at just the right angle to see a faint line, maybe. And then the next morning when I did it again there was nothing on there. But went to the doctor the same day for blood work and I was.

Any line is a positive result! Congratz... you are more than likely pregnant unless you are prone to false positives ( but false positives are not as common as false negatives). A faint line does not mean you are any less pregnant, your body just hasn't produced a large amount of hormones yet ( totally normal)
Assuming you followed the directions on the package and you see any kind of a line, you are pregnant. Congrats!

YOU SHOULD WAIT UNTIL MORNING TO TAKE THEM W/ UR "FIRST PEE" OF THE DAY. IF IT WAS FAINT U SHOULD RETAKE IT ANYWAYS, THE TEST COULD BE DEFECTIVE.
Yep! But do a retest, anyway- I always buy 'em in a two-pack, for just that reason! :)
I know of at least 4 people who have gotten faint lines like yours on HPT's and all four were pregnant. Only pregnancy homones can turn that line, even if it's a faint line. I would maybe call the doctor and get a blood test? They are much more reliable. Good luck!
When you are pregnant, there is a hormone called HCG only this can make a line appear on a pregnancy test, I would definately say you ARE pregnant, nothing else would make the line, even if it is very faint, re-test first thing in the morning, but most tests nowadays are pretty sensitive to testing at any time of the day. A faint line is still a line-- usually the hpt instructions say so as well. Congrats on your (probable) pregnancy!
if its confusing, buy the clearblue pregnancy test that spells it out for you ( pregnant/not pregnant) ! congrats if you are!

Most OTC pregnancy tests consider a faint positive as a positive--but you may have a faulty test. Was it after the 3 minute time limit? If so, its probably a false positive. Try taking another one tomorrow in the AM or going to the doctor for a test. Some people never show positive on urine tests and require blood to be drawn. You can also trust what your body tells you--breast soreness, mild nausea, etc.
i was only 10 days pregnant with my son and i took a test and my line looked just like that. i knew there was a line and most people i showed the test to couldn't see the line hardly at all, but sure enough i was pregnant! i tested a few days later and my line turned darker then. but if you see any color of line next to the "test" line (menaning you see two line at all) then it is a positive. good luck, and congrats! i am trying to concieve as well!
a line is a line my friend... it is impossible to have a positive line when your not pregnant.
As long as you didn't see the line after the "expiration time" which is generally 10 minutes (I think) any positive is a positive! I had the same thing happen 3 weeks ago, and it sure was positive!Retest tomorrow morning to be sure, and maybe the morning after that. Congrats!
First re-test when you retest your urine make sure its a sample from when you first wake up and it is most concertrarted. That has the highest levels of the hormone needed to detect an early pregnancy. If you are still unsure get a serum HCG done and that will help.. Best of luck
