Does anyone know of a pregnancy test that has two lines as a negative??
Answer:
The equate HPT has two windows and lines as a negative (one horiziontal and one vertical), positive is three lines, first & secound line makes a cross shape and the third is a vertical line.
It could be an evaporation line. Did 2 lines come up before the time limit stated on the package?
Two lines generally means pregnant. I have never come across one that had 2 lines as negative, and I've used several brands from Wal-mart.
There are a number of possibilities:
1. (Most likely possibility) The positive test was more sensitive than the negative test. Consequently, the negative test could not pick up on the same amount of the pregnancy hormone.
2. You took the tests at different times of the day. In the morning after you wake up, your urine is less diluted and more of the pregnancy hormone will show up in the test. That is why one test was positive and the other taken later on was negative.
3. You misread one of the two tests.
4. (Least Likely, but still possible) One of the two tests was inacurrate to begin with.
