I have two little boys - any way I can increase the odds of having a girl?
Answer:
There is some research to suggest that sperm with the X chromosome (female sperm) live longer and take longer to reach the egg, so if you track ovulation you can have sex like a few days before you ovulate and most of the Y sperm will have died. You cant then have sex again closer to or on the other side of ovulation or the boy sperm might get to the egg. I'm not sure how well this theory works but there is some science behind it. Another theory is that an acidic vaginal environment will encourage one and alkaline the other sex by killing one type of sperm. Sorry I can't remember which but there is heaps of info online about it. If you try these things you wouldn't want to get your hopes up too much in case of disappointment, but then again they may be worth a try. I was going to try this for my second child but decided I couldn't be bothered ( it might kind of kill the passion a bit...lol) We left it to chance and I'm lucky enough to be expecting a boy ( I already have a little girl), though I would have loved a girl just the same. Now I'm thinking that my little boy would probably like to have a brother, and my girl a sister ( I have two sisters and two brothers and know how nice it is for a girl to have sisters) Where does it all end.lol. I might end up with a large family here!
its like trying to roll a 6 on a dice..keep going, youll get one eventually
some people say that different positions can help in getting a boy/girl. But, According to all of the research that I have done, nothing has been tested.
Nope the odds are 50/50 no matter what you do.
just be grateful for whatever you get, their health is more important and you love them for who they are not because they look cute in pink.
Does it matter if you have a girl? Thank your lucky stars both your little boys are healthy that is all that matters.
go to babycenter.com they got some good old wives tales, that could increase your chance in having baby girl(if you believe in that sort of thing) Best of Luck to you.
Nothing you can do, it's your husbands sperm that decides the sex of the baby. Some say time of year or the food he eats. But why worry, you could end up with enough boys to form a football team before a girl comes along.
just keep trying, or if you don't want a girl, that's fine, but just remember, if you have a girl, the two lads may feel jealous of a sister. I know I was, and I was the younger one!
you can't chose what gender of a baby you have! unless you have half and half then do some kind of surgery to make it a girl.
