I'm 27 and trying to get pregnant with my first...I spent a ton of money on ovulation kits, etc. My mom all but knocked me out and told me to CHILL OUT! So I'll pass her advice on to you.
We're both still young and have time, after a year of trying then go see a fertility specialist...the stress we put on ourselves to conceive could have the exact opposite effect! Enjoy this time with your husband. I've read a lot of articles that say if you have sex 2-3 times a week your bases should be covered. Keep it fun and light and I'll bet you'll have the results you want soon! Good luck and keep us updated!!!

Keep trying. Kristin was right, when you least expect, and when you stop stressing, you find out it can really happen. If you can afford to go to a fertility specialist, (if you aren't already) they can help sometimes. Good Luck and I hope you find success soon!
It took my sister a while to conceive her first child. It seemed that after they quit trying is when she finally got pregnant and now she has 3. I would not give up hope,just quit trying so hard.
You still have plenty of time! Don't try so hard and you might be suprised!
this may sound funny but it does work i am the mother of 7 and this is how i got pregnant for each of them(that is as long as there is no infertility present) i have also passed this on to friends and family that it worked for.
first thing is sex everyday lowers the sperm count upon ejaculation.give time for a good strong"batch" to build up.
from the first day of you period count 14 days-on this date and for the next 5 days have intercourse.dont try any fancy positions-stay on your back
when your fun is done have your mate gently lift you by your legs till you are on your head.stay like this for about 10 minutes if you can-if unable to do this put enough pillows under you behind to raise your lower half as far up as you can.stay like this for about 15 minutes-when done turn and lay on your left side for about 30 minutes.
do not stand up and do not go to the bathroom

Theres no reason why you should stop trying. Many people at 28 and many these days in their 30s and even older become pregnant and have a good pregnancy. If theres nothing wrong then you can still become pregnant. Sometimes it takes a while. Maybe if you just try to relax a bit more, and instead of thinking you are trying to conceive, just think, if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it can still happen next month. This will help you to be less stressed, and things always happen when you least expect them to and when you aren't trying so hard.
Obviously, if you have been trying to conceive for over a year you should go see your Dr, as there may be another reason for you not conceiving.

you have heard a lot of the same ideas why worry if y9ou are getting too old to conceive you aren't my mother weas in her 40's when i was born...i have also heard of a woman in RUSSIA who gave birth at 102 yrs just keep going for broke and when it is your time to conceive you will... just have fun with your partner
Forget that you are trying to conceive... Think you have stopped. Start enjoying the physical relationship with your mate and work towards making it more fun. There is a high chance of you getting there when you are not under stress.
Hey I'm in the same boat as you. But one thing I've realized is when God is ready to give us children he will. Sometimes I get so upset especially when I here about people doing things to children,throwing them in the trash and all sorts of things,and I just can't belive how people like that can have kids and I really want one. but just pray about and tell God what's on your heart he states that he will give us the desires of our hearts and I really believe this and so should you.Good luck and it will happen when the time is right
